Belmont Secondary School is located in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, at the southern end of Vancouver Island. Originally opened in 1947, in September 2015 Belmont had a rebirth in a brand new building, with the Library Learning Commons built at its heart. We have the best of both worlds now: an ideal model of the 21st century Learning Commons with lots of open & flexible space, 90 laptops, a host of online resources and e-books, and balanced with a 52,000 strong library collection all intended to give our students the best learning and inquiry experience.
